1. All members of the University of the Aegean and the general public can make use of the Library’s local services, provided that the provisions of the current Regulation are fully met.
The Library and Information Centre provides free wireless internet access (Wi-Fi) to its users, both at the Central Library and at all library Branches.
Reading rooms are available to users at all the Library branches during opening hours. Reading rooms provide direct access to the Library collections (main book collection, print journals, etc) equipment and facilities (workstations, library terminals, photocopiers, etc).
Library users may renew library items up to three (3) times – for additional one-week periods – if no one has reserved these items. In extraordinary cases, the Library Branch Head can recall high demand items that are on loan.
Every Library Branch has a photocopier for library users. Library users can make copies of the material they are interested in (e.g. excerpts of books etc.), including non-circulating materials (journal articles, excerpts of items of gray literature etc.).
