Who May Borrow Materials
Only the Aegean University members (Faculty, Students, Staff) who have issued a library membership card are entitled to borrow materials.
However, the Library can offer borrowing services to some special types of users. In particular:
The University of the Aegean Library enable users to borrow material that is located in any of the Library Branches (Lesvos, Rhodes, Samos, Syros and Lemnos) through Interbranch lending.
The use of Library materials (such as books, journals, dissertations, etc) is subject to the Law 2121/1993 (on Copyright, Related Rights and Cultural Matters). According to this law, Library materials (such as books, journals, dissertations, etc) are available for personal study.

1. All members of the University of the Aegean and the general public can make use of the Library’s local services, provided that the provisions of the current Regulation are fully met.
The Library offers users the option to place a hold on a book or on other library materials. Users can be placed on a waiting list for a book or other library materials which are on loan to another user.
