The interlibrary service of the University of the Aegean Library and Information Centre enables users to borrow materials that are not available in the Library collection from other Libraries and Information Centers.
The University of the Aegean Library enable users to borrow material that is located in any of the Library Branches (Lesvos, Rhodes, Samos, Syros and Lemnos) through Interbranch lending.
The use of Library materials (such as books, journals, dissertations, etc) is subject to the Law 2121/1993 (on Copyright, Related Rights and Cultural Matters). According to this law, Library materials (such as books, journals, dissertations, etc) are available for personal study.

The Library of the University of the Aegean in cooperation with the Hellenic Copyright Organization of the Ministry of Culture is organizing on November 4, in Mytilene, workshop on "Intellectual property issues in the area of Academic Libraries”.
